2400SH Expanded PTFE APPLICATION: RJG&A style 2400SH Expanded PTFE gasket material is designed for use in process piping and equipment in chemical, pulp and paper, food and beverage and other general industrial applications where resistance to highly aggressive chemicals is required. Expanded PTFE sheets are suitable for use in steel flanges and flanges with irregular surfaces. 2400SH conforms to FDA requirements. COMPOSITION: RJG&A style 2400SH is made with only pure PTFE resins. It is suitable for use in steel flanges and as well as flanges where a highly compressible gasket is required. Style 2400SH is also suitable for sealing flanges with irregular surfaces. It will not exhibit the cold flow problems associated with virgin PTFE or the hardness problems of some other filled PTFE products.
